1

Chennai arrival and tour

Chennai - enroute visit Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry - Tanjore

Drive to Tanjore. Along the route, make an interesting stop in Mahabalipuram to see the amazing historical treasures that are there. Admire the Pancha Rathas of Pallava, a grouping of five finely carved monolithic temples. Witness the impressive Arjuna Shilanyas, a huge rock relief showing Arjuna's penance, after that.

Continuing your route to Pondicherry. 
Explore the serene Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a tranquil oasis founded by Sri Aurobindo and known for its spiritual teachings and peaceful ambiance. Conclude your journey at the Ganesh Mandir, a vibrant temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. 

Arrival in Tanjore by evening. Explore the well-known Brihadeshwara Shiva Temple as the sun sets. Chola kings built this architectural wonder. The gigantic Nandi statue, the temple's focal point and a representation of power and dedication, adds to the temple's appeal and historical importance. Overnight stay.

Tanjore - Trichy - Rameswaram

Drive to Trichy. Discover Srirangam's divine aura as you see the adored Lord Vishnu presiding in all His splendour and encouraging devotees to have a spiritual contact in the temple's sanctified atmosphere. the moment you reach Rameshwaram. In the hotel, check in. Afterward, relax during the remainder of your free time.

Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari

Rameshwaram tour followed by transfer to Kanyakumari. Visit the revered Ramanathaswamy Temple early in the morning to take in its meditative atmosphere and complex construction. Kanyakumari - Suchindram - Madurai

The dawn at Kanyakumari, where the three oceans meet, is a breathtaking sight to start your day. At the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal, you may explore the tranquil beauty of Kanyakumari Beach. Enjoy the serene waves and sweeping vistas as you stroll along its golden dunes.

Continue on to Suchindram and be astonished by the elaborate Thanumalayan Temple, which combines Shaivite, Vaishnavite, and Hindu architectural styles. 

Later, travel to Madurai to visit the famed Meenakshi Temple. Admire the elaborate carvings, colourful sculptures, and imposing gopurams that display Dravidian splendour.

Departure : Madurai - Chennai

It's time to leave for Chennai as your time in Madurai draws to a close. You'll eventually get to the Chennai airport by travelling towards the busy capital. After that, board a plane for your next location while keeping in mind the memories and impressions of your trip from Madurai to Chennai
