1

Chennai Arrival

Upon arrival in Chennai, the  tour operator will welcome and meet guests. After a traditional rite of cordial greeting, the guide will assist you in checking into the hotel you had previously reserved.  

There are numerous lovely ancient temples that provide colour and character to the city. The following is a list of the top-rated temples in this area that you should visit: Kapaleeswarar Temple, Parthasarathy Temple, Kalikambal Temple, and Ashtalakshmi Temple.

Chennai - stop at Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram

Drive to Mahabalipuram. Stop at Kanchipuram and explore the area. And then proceed to Mahabalipuram. It is considered one of the seven Tirthas, or Sapta Puris. Both Shaivites and Vaishnavites revere it; it is ornamented with holy artefacts. Visit the Kamakshi Amman, Kailasanathar, and Ulagalantha Perumal shrines. Arrive in Mahabalipuram and spend the night there.

Mahabalipuram – stop at Pondicherry – Tanjore

Drive to Tanjore enroute stop at Pondicherry. A gem of a coastal location on the east coast of India, renowned for its spiritual aura, peaceful beaches, and French colonial history. Visit Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple and Sri Kanniga Parameswari Temple. 

When visiting Tanjore, be sure to see the UNESCO-listed Brihadeeswara Temple. Visit Sri Rajagopalaswamy Temple and the Airavatesvara Temple as well. Overnight stay.

Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai

Transfer to Madurai. Stop on the way at Trichy, often called Tiruchirapalli, is a thriving city in Tamil Nadu, India's southernmost state. Trichy, which is steeped in history and culture, is renowned for its magnificent architecture and rich legacy. It's a vibrant urban hub with a special fusion of heritage and modernity. Visit the Sri Ranganathaswamy, Srirangam, Samayapuram Mariamman, and Jambukeswarar temples. Reach Madurai and overnight stay there.

Drive to Madurai and then transfer to Madurai airport. Board into the flight and fly to the next destination.
